Mr. Zaloom, I’ve been discussing with a few fellow students the possibility of getting you to do a live Beakman show or a speech for the students of the School of Exact and Natural Sciences of the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina. I can confidently say that more than 80% of students currently enrolled have watched your show during childhood, and it has made some of the most lasting impact in who we are today and the choices that have led us to our both our studies and general curiosity of the world around us. We do not have university funding for this proposal, but a large majority of us are working professionals and we would very likely be able to get the amount you might need to cover your fees, travel arrangements and expenses. For this, we would like to ask if you would be willing to give a speech, workshop, or a live show for old time’s sake, in Buenos Aires, Argentina and what conditions and monetary compensation that would entail. Also, if you have specific dates or times when this would be most convenient for you. You would find that Buenos Aires is a modern, tourist-friendly city, andhundreds of fans willing to show their appreciation for the way you have enriched their lives, myself included.

Respuesta de Beakman-Paul Zaloom:
First of all, please forgive my very late response to your email. I have just realized that I have not been getting my firstname.lastname@example.org email for several months….that’s right: my email has not been delivered since January of this year. I’ve just gotten access to this account today; thus my late response.
I am very intrigued by your proposal, and I would like to participate if we can work out the details. I could certainly give a speech, do a show, run a workshop…some or all of those ideas….and/or whatever else you may have in mind.
Before we discuss some of the specifics, I wanted to check with you to see if you are still interested in this idea, or if so much time has elapsed, th
at it no longer seems viable to you. I, for one, am very interested.
Again, thank you for your patience, and my sincere apology for not responding sooner.
Los mantengo al tanto…
